Christy does E-Mediation Services by conducting mediations through virtual conferences. She has served on Florida’s Mediator Ethics Advisory Committee (“MEAC”) since 2016 and serves as Chair of that Committee since July 2018. When she’s not serving as a private mediator, she serves in the Ninth Judicial Circuit as a volunteer mediator.

In addition to mediating cases, Christy actively practices business law, contract law, and intellectual property law, giving her a broad range of knowledge to pull from while mediating cases.

Christy has authored several published articles on mediation, intellectual property, and privacy law, including: “Ethical Issues in E-Mediation”, published in the Florida Bar’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Magazine, Common Ground; “Do You Own Your Own Brand? In Figure Skating, the Answer is Not Too Clear”, published in the American Bar’s Intellectual Property Journal, Landslide; and “Suing Ourselves: How Our Need for Smartphones Allows Apple & Google to Act Like Big Brother”, published in the New York Bar’s Entertainment & Sports Law Journal.

Christy has repeatedly served as a speaker at Florida’s Annual Dispute Resolution Conference every year since 2017. She has also served as a speaker at the 7th Circuit’s Annual County Court Mediation Services Conference every year since 2018.
