Mr. Wayne L. Sprauve is an attorney and leadership and executive business consultant. He is a member of the Firm’s Business Law group.
Mr. Sprauve is an attorney and a leadership and executive business consultant whose education, unique background, and extensive experience living outside the United States, makes him uniquely qualified to advise US companies on international business ventures, as well as political and cultural issues to help them effectively integrate into foreign markets.
Mr. Sprauve served as the CEO of two international companies; first at Southbridge International Trade Corporation and currently at African Premier Airlines. He uses his international experience to advise foreign companies on US business and political and cultural issues to help them enter American business markets.
While acting as Chief Executive at Southbridge International Trade Corporation, Mr. Sprauve specialized in cross border transactions, security threat assessments, as well as the export of commodities from South Africa to the Peoples Republic of China.
Mr. Sprauve is knowledgeable in airline management, emerging market business startups, international trade law issues, foreign direct investment, African business opportunities, corporate governance in Africa, securitization of investments, rule of law issues in Africa, and engaging African governments and institutions.
Mr. Sprauve has a deep understanding of emerging market business startups, international trade law issues, foreign direct investment, business opportunities, securitization of investments, corporate governance and engaging African governments and institutions.
During time spent in Massachusetts, Mr. Sprauve started his formal work experience as an intern to U.S. Senator Paul E. Tsongas of Massachusetts in 1981 and served with the Massachusetts Army National Guard.
Mr. Sprauve worked as the Assistant Legal Counsel to the Governor of the U.S. Virgin Islands (1989-91), then as Legal Assistant to the Virgin Island Senate President (1991-92).
Mr. Sprauve studied Government at Harvard University (Cambridge, MA) and attended Carnegie-Mellon (Pittsburg, PA) QSSI program as an Alfred P. Sloan scholar (1982).
