Vilma Martinez is an attorney and consultant for the Private Corporate Counsel Program™, a division of the national litigation firm Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A.

Ms. Martinez offers comprehensive legal guidance out of the firm’s Tampa office, providing legal counsel to various industries. Her experience spans liability defense, electronic health records, e-discovery, compliance, and general counsel services and support.

Previously, Ms. Martinez held positions as chief legal and compliance officer for affiliated healthcare clients, where she oversaw corporate risk management, governance, and compliance initiatives. Her responsibilities included handling strategic business matters, contract  drafting and negotiation, policy drafting and implementation, and litigation man. She also served as Senior Associate Corporate Counsel for a major senior healthcare services provider in Florida, managing regulatory, risk, and litigation affairs.

Ms. Martinez also extends her services to various industry clients as an in-house counsel. In this capacity, she assists clients in identifying suitable placement opportunities for secondment attorneys to help clients with their in-house legal needs.
